Welcome to my personal website.

I’m Liam Kirkpatrick, a climate and glaciology PhD cantidate currently studying in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington. My interests lie at the intersection of climate science, geophysics, data science, and engineering. Broadly, my research goal is to improve and extend ice core records of past climate to improve our understanding of anthropogenic climate change.

I’ve made this site to share a bit about myself and my research, everything from fieldwork to lab work, fun youtube videos to nerdy science explainers.

I hope you enjoy, and please reach out with questions!
